Job summary

Pflugerville ISD is looking for a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their in-house team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents improve mobility and overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate holds an active Texas PTA license and possesses strong communication skills. This opportunity offers competitive compensation and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and motivated individual dedicated to providing person-centered care.
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments and promote healing.
• Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders.
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care.
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and performance.
• Monitor and modify treatment interventions based on patient response.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients and caregivers.

Active and valid Texas Physical Therapy Assistant license
