Job summary

The Life Care Center of Stoneham is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide direct rehab care under the supervision of a licensed OT for patients referred by a physician.

The ideal candidate is NBCOT certified, licensed in the state, CPR certified, and has excellent communication and documentation skills. New grads are welcome to apply; 1 year of experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certification upon hire (renewal optional).
• Graduate of an accredited OT program (ASOT).
• Active state license in good standing required.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Follow and implement occupational therapy treatment plans under OT supervision.
• Maintain accurate documentation and charting.
• Communicate with patients, families and care teams to plan for patient needs.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and preserve confidentiality.
• Participate in department programs, goals and policies.
