Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a licensed COTA to provide in-home occupational therapy in the Clearwater, FL area. This PRN position focuses on geriatric care, helping older adults remain independent and safe at home while delivering high-quality, one-on-one therapy.

Responsibilities include implementing plans of care, collaborating with physicians and families, documenting progress, and educating caregivers on safety strategies. Flexible assignments and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) from an accredited program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed.
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home.
