Life Care Centers of America is seeking a COTA to provide direct rehab care in occupational therapy to patients under the supervision of a licensed OT in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.

The role requires NBCOT certification, active state licensure, and a willingness to collaborate within an interdisciplinary team. New grads are welcome, with opportunities for career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• NBCOT certified upon hire; renewal optional.
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (ASOT).
• Currently registered/licensed in applicable state; active license in good standing.
• One year experience preferred; new grads welcome.
• CPR certification upon hire or during orientation; must remain current.

Responsibilities

• Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
• Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to plan for patient needs.
• Follow occupational treatment plans under the direction of the supervising OT.
• Chart appropriately and timely.
• Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.
• Demonstrate good body mechanics and professional conduct.
