The Greens at Erwin is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN Day Shift, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 12-hour shifts. Join a supportive, team-focused skilled nursing environment in Erwin, TN, with opportunities for growth and meaningful resident care.

Ideal candidates are licensed RNs in Tennessee, with strong clinical assessment and communication skills, and the availability to work PRN daytime shifts per scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Current, active Tennessee Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited or approved Registered Nursing program.
• Current CPR certification preferred.
• Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the nursing team.
• Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing quality resident care.
• Ability to work PRN day shifts based on scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans.
• Perform nursing assessments and monitor residents for changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions safely and accurately according to physician orders.
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in resident condition, communicating with physicians and appropriate healthcare providers.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide clinical guidance, supervision, and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection control practices, safety procedures, nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Promote resident safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of life.
• Contribute to a positive, respectful, and resident-centered nursing environment.
