Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center in Palm Coast, FL. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter patient data, and assist with billing and customer service. A high school diploma and phlebotomy certification or training are required.

Schedule is Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED with a 19-hour maximum per week; travel to additional sites as needed; opportunities for growth within Labcorp are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
• Other Duties as assigned
