Job summary

Advocate Health in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a Full-time Phlebotomist for ambulatory laboratory services. 40 hours per week, start times 7:00–9:00 am, rotating Saturdays, no Sundays. • 1 year phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of phlebotomy or related laboratory function.

Responsibilities

• Verifies patient ID and ensures safety.
• Performs venipuncture and collects specimens per protocol.
• Ensures proper labeling and specimen tracking for testing.
• Performs limited testing under CLIA guidelines.
• Answers calls, assists with inventory and billing support.
• Receives, processes, and ships specimens and requests.
