Job summary

Safeway is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to ensure accurate prescription processing and efficient patient service under supervision. You will handle data entry, medication preparation, and record maintenance in a regulated environment

Excellent organization and communication are essential as you support daily pharmacy operations, answer patient questions, and help uphold privacy and safety standards in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old (or 18+ per location).
• BoP registration/licensure where applicable.
• Experience with prescription processing and data entry.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy rules.
• Ability to perform basic math and use computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions and enter data under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with medication preparation and order processing.
• Maintain accurate records and labeling as per guidelines.
• Interact with patients, answer questions, and direct inquiries.
