Job summary

Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona is seeking Registered Nurses for Registry/Per Diem assignments at Banner Estrella Medical Center. Assignments are typically 8:00am–4:30pm, with varied schedules and no guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Arizona Fingerprint/Background requirements may apply for certain Banner roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document patient nursing care.
• Formulate a plan of care including discharge planning.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document care plans and patient responses in the medical record.
• Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Interact with patients, families and other health care professionals to ensure safe, effective care.
