Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Houston is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopic studies, adhering to safety standards and using RIS/PACS systems to support radiologists.

You will rotate across locations, maintain equipment QC, participate in training, and communicate clearly with patients and staff while keeping licenses current and pursuing continuing education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Employee must attain ARRT(R) and MRT-General Certificate Status within one year of eligibility OR ARRT (R) MRT-General Certificate
• BLS certification through American Heart Association
• Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography to include fluoroscopic studies and basic positioning.
• Participates in Technical Quality Control measures including routine equipment maintenance.
• Uses RIS system to document and communicate findings for radiologist review.
• Maintains cleanliness and sterile technique where applicable.
• Maintains safety and shielding practices for patient care.
• Attends formal/in-service training and continuing education to maintain licenses.
• Interacts effectively with patients and staff across locations and communicates with supervisors and radiologists
