Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, is looking for a Radiology Technologist to join our team across Houston locations. You will perform diagnostic radiography and fluoroscopy as needed, ensuring quality imaging while following department protocols and safety guidelines.

You’ll use RIS/PACS for documentation, participate in training, and uphold the clinic’s mission and patient-centered values. This role offers growth within a reputable health system and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT (R) registry.
• Graduate Technologist designation as defined by the Texas Medical Board.
• Attain ARRT(R) and MRT General Certificate Status within one year of eligibility.
• ARRT (R) and MRT-General Certificate if applicable.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and grasp elements of digital image acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopic studies per department policies and protocols.
• Participates in Technical Quality Control measures including routine equipment maintenance and reporting malfunctions.
• Uses RIS correctly and documents radiologist review notes.
• Maintains radiation safety and uses shielding devices as age appropriate.
• Participates in training programs and maintains licenses/certifications.
• Collaborates with patients and staff and aligns with clinic mission and values.
