Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Eligible for ARRT registry as defined by state board.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Ability to use computer keyboard and digital image acquisition.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiography including fluoroscopic studies per policy and protocol.
• Maintains equipment and logs; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Uses RIS and PACS; documents findings for radiologist review.
• Assists radiologists and coordinates corrective actions as needed.
• Adheres to radiation safety and shielding guidelines for patients.
• Maintains sterile technique and participates in training programs.
• Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
