Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy is seeking a flexible Physical Therapist to support outpatient orthopedic clinics across Ventura County. Per diem float roles offer the ability to choose locations and hours, with optional coverage in LA and OC.

The role emphasizes mobility restoration, pain management, and patient-centered outcomes, with opportunities for part-time scheduling and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping purposes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in physical therapy techniques and best practices.
