Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in South Oxnard is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our outpatient orthopedic team. Flexible per diem or part-time shifts and competitive hourly pay of $50–$60 per hour based on experience.

You’ll assess, treat, and educate patients to improve mobility and reduce pain, while leveraging our ambient listening technology to streamline documentation. The role emphasizes independent work with collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, offering growth

Qualifications

• Valid state Physical Therapist license
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy required
• CPR certification or higher as required by state regulation
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Proficient computer/documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals using various therapies and modalities.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and interventions to improve mobility, strength, and function.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and families about therapy procedures, home programs, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals for comprehensive care.
• Ensure timely and complete discharge summaries and progress notes.
• Stay updated on advances in PT techniques and integrate into practice.
