Job summary

Hands At Home Care Services in Maine is seeking a Per Diem PSS (Personal Support Specialist) to provide non-medical home care with flexible shifts. You choose your schedule and may travel to multiple client locations, with mileage reimbursement and weekly pay options.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• PSS Certification; we will help in getting it if needed.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Able to pass a background screening.
• Able to assist clients with mobility and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Immunization records (MMR, Varicella, annual flu) current.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with non-medical home care services as needed.
• Personal care assistance, mobility support and transfers.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Transportation assistance and travel between client locations.
• Temporary coverage when regular caregiver is unavailable.
