Job summary

Hands At Home Care Services is seeking a Per Diem Personal Support Specialist to provide non-medical in-home care in the Portland area. The role offers flexible shifts, travel between client sites, mileage reimbursement, and opportunities for rapid start.

You will deliver personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation assistance as needed. Per diem status with the potential for ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least one year of caregiving experience preferred.
• PSS Certification or enrollment assistance available.
• Experience in home care or related settings is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license preferred and reliable transportation preferred.
• Must pass a background screening and have immunization records.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care and support to clients.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and transfers.
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Companionship and social engagement with clients.
• Transportation assistance and travel between client sites.
• Cover shifts as needed and coordinate with clients and team.
• Support client needs during start-up and ongoing care.
