Job summary

Amedisys is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a per diem, flexible schedule position in home health settings in the United States. The role requires licensure in the target state, ACOTE accreditation, NBCOT eligibility, and at least one year of OT experience. CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state you are assigned to work.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take or having completed NBCOT certification.
• One year related OT experience (or regional leadership approval/mentoring if less).
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan addresses identified problems and documents rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
