Job summary

Amedisys is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a per diem flex schedule in Montgomery, AL. You will provide OT services in patients' homes under a physician-approved plan of care, ensuring safety and quality, with timely documentation and coordination with the care team.

Starting orientation pays $50.00–$62.00 per hour, then a per-point pay method. This role offers comprehensive benefits, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the assigned state.
• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program.
• Eligible to take the NBCOT entry-level certification exam.
• One year related OT experience or approval for mentored/ residency program.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide OT services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems or documents rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
