Job summary

OneWell Health Care is seeking a Per Diem Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Atglen, PA to provide hands-on, person-centered care to individuals with IDD in home and community settings. Shifts are flexible, with no guaranteed hours, and per diem status is based on organizational needs.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, nutrition, mobility, and documentation while promoting independence and safety. Excellent English communication and reliable transportation are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: caregiving, home health, or direct support for individuals with IDD.
• Experience in community-based or residential support settings.
• Ability to use EVV systems and basic computer skills.
• English proficiency required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, person-centered support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with daily living activities, meal prep, and nutrition.
• Provide medication reminders or assistance as authorized.
• Support mobility, transfers, and health/safety monitoring.
• Maintain documentation, participate in meetings/trainings, and support staffing needs.
