Job summary

Sierra Medical Center in Reno, NV is seeking a Float Pool Patient Care Tech/CNA to provide direct and indirect patient care in a medical-surgical setting under an RN preceptor.

You will participate in hourly rounding, ensure safe patient environments, and communicate changes in patient condition to the RN. This per diem role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities to float to all units while supporting a dedicated care team.

Qualifications

• Current CNA license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Prefer one year experience in acute care/behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Complete bedside shift reports and rounds, ensure care team contact information is available.
• Float to all units and participate in CQI activities.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to the RN preceptor.
