Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Personal Care Aide/Caregiver in Haralson County, GA. The role focuses on home-based care with flexible scheduling, 1:1 client ratios and opportunities to grow through online training and CEUs.

You will assist seniors with daily living activities, mobility, meals, transportation and companionship, clarifying care plans with supervisors as needed. A caring demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
Personal Care Assistant Certificate in GA; Interim can assist with certification.
CPR and First Aid certification current; TB screening within past 12 months.
Valid GA driver’s license, auto insurance and personal vehicle.
Compassionate, reliable, good communicator with ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and support to seniors at home for safe living.
Assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, meal prep, shopping, transportation and companionship.
Aid with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
Give medication reminders, document condition and notify supervisor of concerns.
Maintain a safe home environment and engage clients in activities they enjoy.
