Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Montgomery, AL. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to increase earnings.

Ideal candidates are reliability‑focused, with security experience and strong customer service skills. The position supports a flexible, part‑time schedule on a commercial site, providing opportunities to grow toward a full‑time schedule up to 40 hours per week when available,

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
Age: 18+ for unarmed, 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required.
Licensing may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees while following site procedures and security policies at a commercial real estate location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including common areas, entrances, parking facilities, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and report concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and according to procedures.
Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs per site requirements.
