Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced - Part Time for the Montgomery, AL area. This flexible, dependable role offers reliable hours at a designated site with opportunities to pick up extra shifts and increase earnings through our scheduling platform.

The position pays $16.30 per hour with a fixed anchor shift on DayTime Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, and supports a path toward a full-time schedule. Prior security or customer service experience is valued.

Qualifications

At least two years of security-related experience.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all laws.
A drug screen may be required.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees at a commercial real estate location by following site-specific procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas and perimeter areas.
Monitor access points and assist with access control and directing guests as needed.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and policy violations through written reports.
