Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Experienced Driver Patrol in Montgomery, AL. You will provide customer service to tenants, conduct patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document activities.

The role requires at least 2 years security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work weekend shifts. This position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within a nationwide security leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities through clear and timely reports.
