Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Driver Patrol in Montgomery, AL. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with opportunities to pick up additional shifts via the scheduling platform, helping you grow toward a full-time career in security.

You will provide customer service to tenants and employees, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and document reports, with emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees at a commercial real estate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, documenting observations and reporting incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, patrol, and incident reports, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
