Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Montgomery, AL with a pay rate of $16.30 per hour. This role offers fixed anchor shifts at a designated site and the option to pick up additional shifts through our scheduling platform, enabling higher earnings while gaining experience across sites.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in security, are comfortable with computers/tablets, and can pass a background check and drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background checks and drug screening will be conducted as part of employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property personnel while following site procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly, following emergency procedures as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and report security concerns or policy violations.
• Document patrols and incidents in clear, accurate reports and communicate information to supervisors.
