Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Enhanced Part Time in Montgomery, AL. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts with opportunity to pick up additional shifts through a scheduling platform.

Pay is $17.00 per hour with shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Thursdays, and a pathway toward full‑time opportunities. Responsibilities include access control, log maintenance, incident response, and customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Background checks will be conducted as per policy.
• Drug screen required before employment.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry points and verify credentials to control access at healthcare locations.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, solution‑oriented manner and notify supervisors as needed.
• Maintain accurate access‑related logs and relay observations to site leadership.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, restricted areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
