Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed in Washington, DC to provide reliable site security with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra hours via our scheduling platform.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid guard card or license where required. Pay rate is $22.50 per hour, with a six‑month commitment on a designated site and potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner per reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the site to identify unusual conditions and report findings.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site requirements and maintain logs.
