Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Washington, DC. You will have fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings while gaining hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include providing customer service to campus stakeholders, responding to incidents and alarms, conducting unarmed patrols, monitoring access points, and filing

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as required by law.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations professionally.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points and observe campus activity, report unusual conditions and policy violations.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
