Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Access Control in Groveport, OH. This flexible, part-time role offers reliable hours at a designated site with potential to pick up extra shifts for increased earnings.

The position pays $18.50 per hour, with a fixed anchor shift from Daytime to 11:00 PM and a program to claim additional shifts via our scheduling platform. Ideal for building a career in security with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background check and drug screen required as a condition of employment.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by enforcing security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeters.
Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
Document observations and incidents, and communicate with site leadership and Allied Universal.
