Job summary

Allied Universal, Groveport, OH, is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed Access Control) to safeguard clients across industries including Food/Beverage. You’ll monitor areas, patrol facilities, and manage access control, delivering superior customer service in a welcoming environment.

The role offers flexible day/evening shifts with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour, and opportunities for growth within a large, diverse security team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to be performed as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, delivery drivers, and visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in required reports and logs.
