Job summary

Allied Universal in Groveport, OH is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Emergency Readiness to provide reliable coverage at a distribution facility. This role offers flexible, fixed shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

Pay rate is $17.98 per hour with daytime and weekend schedules. You’ll perform patrols, monitor access points, respond to alarms, and support a professional logistics site.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, yards, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of personnel and vehicles.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, document observations, and notify appropriate personnel.
• Report maintenance concerns, hazards, and other security-related issues following procedures.
