Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Identity Screener in Santa Fe Springs, CA. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts through the scheduling platform to boost earnings.

Pay rate is $18.25 per hour with a schedule that includes DayTime Sun 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, designed for reliable base hours and potential growth toward a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while following site procedures and security policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries according to access-control procedures and site requirements.
• Inspect packages, parcels, and personal property as authorized, document findings and report prohibited items or irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, loading areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
