Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Biometric Access Control in Santa Fe Springs, CA. The role offers fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts, aiming to provide reliable hours while supporting up to a 40-hour week when needed.

You will protect employees, visitors, and assets, performing access control, badge issuance, and incident response with a focus on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of security-related experience.
• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out access-control procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials and maintain access-related records.
• Control access for deliveries and vehicle traffic, report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
