Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Personnel Screening in Santa Fe Springs, CA to screen individuals and maintain a secure environment at a logistics and distribution location. You will provide professional customer service, monitor access points, and report security concerns.

The role offers flexible scheduling via the Claim a Shift platform, a pay rate of $18.25 per hour, and opportunities to grow with a leading security and facility services provider.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries and control access to designated areas.
• Inspect packages and personal items and report prohibited items or irregularities.
• Respond to incidents and maintain calm, clear reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
