Allied Universal in Naperville, IL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Patrol Reporting to provide reliable security coverage with fixed shifts and flexible opportunities. Pay rate is $18.54 per hour and the role emphasizes dependable hours at an assigned site.

The position offers a Friday 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM schedule with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform to grow earnings and gain experience across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual activity and hazards.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements; assist with directing guests and reporting access-control concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner and request assistance as needed.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation and communicate information to site contacts.
