Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to service a multi-store route in Pullman, WA and surrounding areas. You will merchandise greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush and more, while keeping shelves stocked and organized.

Ideal candidates are reliable, able to work daytime hours, and comfortable using a company tablet for scheduling and updates. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with raises at 6 months and 1 year, plus paid training and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates
• Technological competency-able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks
• Meet scheduling needs - Occasional weekends, the day before and after major holidays as needed (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas)

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products within greeting card departments and other retail locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management any questions or scheduling concerns.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with time-management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with retail store staff during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets and minor fixture work.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule using company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
