American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations, including greeting card departments and backroom areas. Route-based work in Nome, AK, with weekly hours averaging about 1 hour, increasing around holidays.

Training is provided, with pay starting at $17.10 per hour and potential increases over the first year. Responsibilities include organizing product displays, inventory tasks, and maintaining store relationships during daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• English literacy (speaking, reading, writing) required.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Reliable transportation to access multiple retail locations.
• Reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Able to learn and use company-provided tablet for training and daily tasks.
• Occasional weekends and holidays scheduling may be required.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, display product in greeting card departments and other locations, and maintain backroom organization and inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management any questions regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organizational skills.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as needed.
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in assigned stores using a company tablet.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
