Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a Support Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations on independent routes, displaying and managing our greetings products while keeping backrooms organized and stock levels maintained.

You will travel between stores, manage time efficiently, and build positive relationships with store staff. No experience is necessary as training is provided, with pay starting at $19.40/hour and increases over the first year.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations
• Access to reliable transportation
• Access to reliable internet for job information
• Able to learn and use a company-provided tablet
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Service assigned retail routes, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform inventory tasks
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns to management
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with good time management
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours
• Be available for additional days and extended hours during holidays
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product assembly
• Plan weekly service schedules in Stores using a company tablet
• Work effectively alone or as part of a team
