Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.

You will use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes throughout the store and compile data for clients. The base hours range from 5–10 hours per week per store, with occasional additional hours for special projects.

Qualifications

• 18+ with a valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage
• Ability to stand for long periods and reach products
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to perform repetitive movements
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi
• Must be tech savvy
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned local retailers weekly to scan barcodes in displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to capture scan data at multiple store locations.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain data quality for clients.
• Participate in 52 weeks of data collection, including holidays.
• Support clients with in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores
