Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes using a smartphone app. The role supports 52 weeks a year with flexible hours and continuous activity throughout shifts.

You'll perform data collection across grocery and retail formats, with some weeks including additional Custom Projects, and travel paid at your hourly rate. Independence and reliability are valued.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure standing for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Able to reach 6 feet and perform repetitive movements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year.
• Use a downloadable app to scan barcodes throughout stores.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete display scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours during peak weeks.
• Adhere to weekly deadlines and ensure data quality for clients.
