Job summary

ScanScape Retail is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collection at local retailers every week for a full year, including grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandisers. You’ll use a mobile app to scan barcodes and complete display scanning across the store.

The base hours average about 4 hours per week across all stores, with additional hours 1–2 hours per week per store for special projects. A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven and self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes in various store locations using a downloadable mobile app.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly; hours vary by store size and workload.
• Participate in special projects which add 1–2 hours per week for some weeks.
• Meet weekly deadlines and maintain dependable, quality-driven execution.
