Job summary

ScanScape is hiring Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores weekly and scan barcodes on displays, aisles, and end caps. You will use a mobile app to collect data for major retailers.

The role is part-time with 6–10 hours per week on average, offering flexible hours and potential extra hours for special projects. Applicants must be 18+, have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi.
• Must be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections weekly for 52 weeks a year across grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores.
• Use a downloadable mobile app to scan barcodes in various locations within each store.
• Provide data on approximately 45% of scanned products.
• Complete Display Scanning across the store weekly, which may take several hours.
• Assist with Custom Projects adding 30 minutes to 2 hours of work for certain weeks.
