Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at local retailers weekly throughout the year, including grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass stores.

You will use a mobile app to scan barcodes, report quantities for about 45% of products, and handle occasional additional project work. Hours average 2–4.5 per week per store, with extra hours for special projects.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods, while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly for 52 weeks a year.
• Scan barcodes in multiple locations using a downloadable mobile app.
• Provide quantity estimates for about 45% of the products scanned.
• Complete display scanning across the store weekly.
• Participate in Custom Projects or special tasks during peak weeks.
• Maintain dependability and quality in data delivered to clients.
