Job summary

ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local stores and scan product barcodes on displays and aisles. You will use a mobile app to capture data that helps improve sales for brands and retailers.

Role offers independence, flexible hours, and steady weekly tasks across grocery and other retailers. You will perform in-store scanning, meet deadlines, and may handle occasional special projects. Requires 18+ and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout stores.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and reach up to 6 feet.
• Repetitive movements with hands and legs for prolonged periods.
• Detail-oriented and capable of working independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have reliable Wi-Fi and be tech-savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers weekly for 52 weeks.
• Scan barcodes in multiple store locations using a mobile app.
• Complete display scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Assist with custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours in selected weeks.
