Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited, partnering with BioLife, is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist for a Salisbury, MD plasma donation center. The role offers 4–6 hour shifts, 3+ days per week, and emphasizes donor screening, phlebotomy, and center operations.

You will join a patient-focused team, receive paid training, and contribute to delivering high-quality plasma for medicines. The position includes evenings and weekend coverage and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing equipment from a distance.
• Prolonged glove wear due to exposure to bloodborne pathogens (risk level 1).
• 1+ years in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and programming of plasmapheresis machine.
• Monitor donors during donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment per training scope.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies and assist with disposal.
