Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple retail locations in Livermore, CA, and surrounding areas. You will display and maintain greeting cards, gift wrap, and party goods while staying organized and on schedule.

No experience required; paid training provided. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour with raises to $18.60 after six months and $19.50 after one year. We offer flexible scheduling and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older
• English reading, writing, and comprehension required
• Lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations
• Reliable transportation to service multiple locations
• Reliable internet access for updates
• Ability to learn and use company tablet
• Occasional weekends and holiday scheduling required

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders, display in greeting card departments, and inventory tasks
• Communicate with management about service or schedules
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment using time management and organization
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours
• Availability for additional days and extended hours around holidays
• Assist with store resets including fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal as requested
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload in stores using a company tablet
• Work independently and as part of a team
