Job summary

American Greetings, a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace, is hiring Merchandisers to work independently across multiple retail locations. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap accessories, party goods, plush and more, leveraging strong organization and time management.

The role offers starting pay of $17.50 per hour with increases at 6 months and 1 year, flexible scheduling, paid training, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation for multi-location routes.
• Access to reliable internet for receiving updates.
• Tech proficiency to learn and use a company-issued tablet.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and organize product orders; display products in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain backroom organization and other inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate questions or scheduling concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time-management skills.
• Build relationships with store staff and management during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around holidays.
• Assist with store resets, fixtures, or minor relocation tasks as requested.
• Plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
