Job summary

ARIS at Home is seeking dependable, compassionate caregivers for flexible, one-on-one home care opportunities in the western suburbs of Chicago. Shifts vary by client and location, with no guaranteed minimum hours at hire and scheduling aligned to availability and client need.

We prioritize local placement, matching caregivers to clients based on location, experience, personality, and care requirements. CNA is welcome but not required, and benefits include PTO and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving or home-care experience is preferred.
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, or mobility limitations is valuable.
• Ability to follow a client’s plan of care and communicate changes to the ARIS team.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and feeding
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Meal planning and preparation
• Light housekeeping, laundry and linen changes
• Medication reminders
• Mobility and transfer assistance
• Transportation or errands when included in the client's care plan
• Following the client's established plan of care
• Communicating changes or concerns to the ARIS care team
