Job summary

Assisting Hands Home Care seeks a compassionate Part-Time Caregiver to deliver custodial and personal care in clients' homes in Joliet, IL. You will follow each client’s Plan of Care, help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living space, and provide reliable support to promote independent living.

Shifts are flexible and available 24/7 based on client needs and your availability, with a focus on safe mobility, daily living tasks, and respectful companionship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in home care or similar setting preferred.
• Ability to perform light housekeeping and personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe home environment with light housekeeping.
• Provide personal care including hygiene, grooming, dressing, and transfers.
• Assist with meals and nutritional needs.
• Observe and report changes in client health to supervisor.
• Assist with mobility and range-of-motion exercises as prescribed.
• Follow infection control protocols and caregiver handbook procedures.
